Service to be led by Zehner Evans.

No potluck this time - it's chancy in our small community room with the coronavirus still spreading.  But we still will light the candles and uphold the traditions that saw us through worse times! And we'll enjoy each other's (socially distanced) company!

Beth Israel Congregation’s Clever Plan for COVID-safe Shabbat services.

1. We’ll be wearing masks in the synagogue and keeping 6 feet apart from people not in our households. Some pews will be closed off to help us maintain 6 feet distance.

2. We’ll leave the doors and windows open to provide as much ventilation as we can. We’ll also turn up the heat, but dress warm!

3. We’ll wipe down the pews before and after services.

4. We'll have hand sanitizer!

5. If you feel any COVID symptoms - fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea – stay home. Likewise, if your age, health or other situations made you feel unsafe attending, no one will blame you for staying home. We want everyone to both be and feel safe and healthy!
