Friday Night Services are held about twice a month as leaders are available.  Bring a mask and your favorite vegetarian potluck dish!

We're slowly working our way back to in-person services after the COVID shutdown.  We're starting with one outdoors, then one indoors with the windows open!

Next services:

Friday, April 16, at 7 p.m.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Pavilion, Berwick

1600 Fowler Ave., Berwick

1600 Fowler Ave., Berwick PA 18603
Service to be led Kenneth Druckenmiller and Susan Schwartz.  Many thanks to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for loaning us use of their beautiful pavilion and bathrooms!  Bring flashlights and a jacket, along with your favorite potluck dish!

Friday, April 16, at 7 p.m.

Beth Israel Congregation

144 E. Fourth St., Bloomsburg

Leaders yet to be determined - let us know if you'd like to lead a section. We'll keep the windows open and use every other pew.  Afterwards, those who would like can join us for a vegetarian potluck at Town Park Pavilion 4, at the east corner of Fort McClure Boulevard and Market Street, by the swing and slides.

Beth Israel Congregation’s Clever Plan for COVID-safe in-person Shabbat services.

1. We’ll be wearing masks in the synagogue and keeping 6 feet apart from people not in our households. Some pews will be closed off to help us maintain 6 feet distance.

2. We’ll leave the doors and windows open to provide as much ventilation as we can. We’ll also turn up the heat, but dress warm!

3. We’ll wipe down the pews before and after services.

4. We'll have hand sanitizer!

5. If you feel any COVID symptoms - fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea – stay home. Likewise, if your age, health or other situations made you feel unsafe attending, no one will blame you for staying home. We want everyone to both be and feel safe and healthy!
